Warren Moon’s Ex-Wife: Who Is She?
Felicia Fontenot Hendricks was previously married to football player Warren Moon. Felicia is a 1956 baby girl. She will be 67 years old when she celebrates her birthday in 2023. There isn’t much public information about Felicia’s family or early life. She has kept her personal information private. Warren and she had known each other since they were 16 years old.
Felicia Fontenot Hendricks and Warren married on March 8, 1981, in front of family and friends. Joshua, Chelsea, Blair, and Jeffrey are their children. Blair Moon, their daughter, was a volleyball player at Tulane. Their marriage was far from perfect, as they had domestic disputes that involved the police. Felicia stated that her relationship with her husband had deteriorated to the point where “I refused sex with him.”
“He would make advances in an attempt to rekindle the spark or some kind of affection in our marriage.” I had lost interest in having sex with him.” Warren was accused of assaulting Felicia. Following the accusations, Felicia testified that she was the aggressor and Warren was acting in self-defense. They both admitted that the brawl started when Felicia threw a candle holder at Warren’s back and kneed him in the groin.
Felicia revealed in the divorce petition filed in a Fort Bend County district court that they had not lived together as husband and wife for about two years. “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between (the Moons) that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation,” it says in the petition.
Felicia believes she and her husband will reach a written agreement on custody and support for their three children, as well as the division of their estate, according to the petition. After 20 years of marriage, Felicia and Warren’s marriage ended on April 24, 2002. Felicia began dating James Thomas after her divorce from Warren Moon.
Felicia reportedly worked as a freelance writer and founded an organisation to combat domestic violence. Felicia allegedly opened a Christian bookstore in 2002. Warren Moon and Mandy Ritter have been married since 2005.
